Fingerprint jewelry is a deeply personal keepsake featuring the exact, one-of-a-kind pattern from someone’s fingertip. How Is Your Fingerprint Jewelry Made and How Is It Different From Other Fingerprint Jewelry Companies?
My process for creating fingerprint jewelry has been developed over many years of trial and error. I choose to use a medium that’s not as common in the jewelry industry, but one that produces impeccably detailed results and deep impressions.
I use photos of your fingerprints to create a finely detailed photopolymer plate (essentially, a steel-backed stamp). This stamp is pressed into silver metal clay, making a deep and detailed impression. I hand-cut the metal clay into the shape you’ve ordered, dry it to a greenware state, then sand and refine it to perfection.
The piece is then fired in a kiln at approximately 1650°F for about 3 hours. During firing, the clay binder burns away, leaving solid silver. After firing, every piece goes through at least 7 stages of polishing, patinas are added, and the final assembly is completed.
I personally make every single piece myself, ensuring it meets my highest standards of craftsmanship and quality.

Where/How Can I Get Fingerprints of My Loved Ones?
If you don’t already have a fingerprint, there are many ways to obtain one.
- Funeral homes often take fingerprints of loved ones and can provide them to family members upon request.
- DIY at home—I provide simple step-by-step instructions in my FAQ section for taking a clear, high-quality print using just paper and pencil.
- Official documents—some military discharge papers or employment records contain fingerprints.
- Birth certificates—in certain states, older birth certificates may include a parent’s or child’s fingerprint.
- From another keepsake—if you already have an engraved piece or printed artwork containing a fingerprint, I can often work from a photo of that.
- Photographs of Fingers – If you don’t have an ink or pencil fingerprint, I can sometimes work directly from a close-up photo of the finger itself. The photo must be sharply focused, free of glare or shadows, and taken in good lighting so every ridge and detail is visible.
